FILLING INSTRUCTIONS: This garden box measures 10' long, 2' wide, and 3' deep overall, with an interior planting space of approximately 9'4" long, 20" wide, and 30" deep. When filled completely, it holds about 1.4 cubic yards (roughly 39 cubic feet) of soil. For a more efficient and sustainable setup, we recommend filling the lower portion with natural materials like branches and old wood (not painted or glued), then topping with 12–18 inches of high-quality soil and compost. This method reduces the total soil needed while still providing an ideal growing environment, typically requiring around 20–26 cubic feet of soil, or about 14–18 standard bags.
