FILLING INSTRUCTIONS: This garden box measures 8' long, 2' wide, and 18" deep overall, with an interior planting space of approximately 7'4" long, 20" wide, and 12" deep. When filled completely, it holds about 0.7 cubic yards (roughly 19–20 cubic feet) of soil. For a more efficient and sustainable setup, we recommend filling the lower portion with natural materials like branches or cardboard, then topping with 8–12 inches of high-quality soil and compost. This method reduces the total soil needed while still providing an ideal growing environment, typically requiring around 10–14 cubic feet of soil, or about 7–10 standard bags.
